SPEAKER: Matt Schmid
BIO: Matt is a very enthusiastic and energetic person. He was the youth pastor at Warden Full Gospel (GTA) from 2009 to 2014, before moving to Woodvale Church in Ottawa. Matt has been in Ottawa for nearly 12 years now, and has served in student ministries the entire time, now focusing on Young Adults ministry. He is married to his wife Yvonne, and they have a son, Ezekiel. Matt gets really excited whenever talking about ways to lead people into living out their fullest potential.
Anything Matt does, he does all in; whether it’s coffee connoisseuring, BBQing, weightlifting, or anything else that’s super random, he does it all to the extreme. Amidst all these random hobbies, he’s just as passionate about imparting that level of love for Jesus in the lives of today’s students.
